5 Tips For Sticking to Your Fitness Goals

By: Shayla Roberts

Do you feel inspired to get fit and healthy? After watching the Olympics and Paralympic Winter 2010 h. Years of training, focus on a target, the clarity of his dreams, which is inspiring. Lately everyone I spoke to was inspired to feel good about themselves, to be fit and healthy, and after seeing the Olympians who want to start now.

But how this inspiration leads to personal success? It is not easy when there are so many demands on our time and so many ways that we can sabotage our own success. After talking to a lot of people this week about their aspirations for health and fitness. I heard the same thing, "How can I set my goals in my life?" Especially with a family and a career? How to set my goals in my day. It seems overwhelming and unattainable.

I can tell you it is not. I've helped many, men and women who manage busy changing their health, get fit and achieve amazing personal goals and here are my top 5 tips to help you achieve your health goals.

1. Be consistent. Want to lose weight, start a KM 10 or lower your blood pressure? Small changes lead to big results if you do a little each day. Break it down into manageable chunks and make every day a step in the right direction. Olympic athletes for over 10 years just to be able to train for the Olympics.

2. I do it by yourself. Try to make a change, even positive, for someone else never works. There will be times when you do not want to go out in the rain to go running and do it for someone else, it is less likely to be himself pushing through the door.

3. Get some support. It's more fun to work together for a common goal. Even better to have a partner means you have someone to share their best and worst days. It is even more likely to succeed when you have a friend to share in their success.

4. Have a plan. I saw too many injuries, unfulfilled goals and disappointments of people all the latest fashions and trends to be seen as unfit, overweight and healthy when they started jumping. Having a roadmap for your goal is a great way to see their improvements, be motivated and be successful in life.

5. Have fun. This is the most important. If you are not having any fun that will not comply or if you want to continue once they have achieved their objectives. Try a variety of activities, take some lessons, but remember to have fun. If no fun is not worth the effort.

It is inspired by the challenges of others and fitness success. Build your success in knowing that others have struggled and overcome personal challenges. Finding the motivation to stay on track with the inspiration you need not look at the world and just enjoy the fitness process.
